We would like to encourage ALL adults at Faith Church to sign up for Darkness to Light Training scheduled for Wednesday, July 27th or Thursday, August 4th. (Starting at 7pm.) Darkness to Light training “seeks to empower adults to prevent child sexual abuse.” Though the training is required for anyone working with children or youth at Faith Church, it is beneficial for each and everyone of us. Learning the facts, minimizing opportunities, and taking responsibility is something we can all do to prevent this tragedy from happening in our homes and in our churches. We are fortunate to have our own Heidi Scott, LPC to lead us in this training. Parents and Grandparents, we especially hope that you are able to set aside one of these dates to join us.
